Remote Fire Alarm Monitoring
You may have followed all the guidelines in assessing the fire risk in your premises and reduced all risks with the installation of legislation compliant fire alarm systems and evacuation plans, but what happens if disaster strikes out of hours? Who is going to deal with an activated alarm system if a fire breaks out while your building is empty?
Every week there are thousands of fires in the UK, and for businesses, a fire that destroys your premises can be a blow from which you will never recover.
At Paragon Fire and Security we offer fire alarm monitoring systems. Partnering with BT Redcare, the market leader in intelligent alarm monitoring, we’ll connect your fire alarm system to an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) that ensures that your alarm is constantly monitored, every second of the day, and that the Fire Brigade or a 3rd party is always contacted, should your building be empty in the event of a fire. As well as preventing a potential disaster, this service can result in huge savings in premiums from your insurance company.
We offer the installation of new systems that meet the highest levels of quality and safety or will manage the maintenance of existing systems.
What sort of system do you need?
There are various systems available utilising the Redcare network – from simple “ping” systems that use your existing phone line to send an “ok” signal to the Alarm Receiving Centre to more complex GSM systems that also utilise the mobile phone network should your phone line be compromised.
Redcare Classic – the phone line is checked continuously and, if there are any interruptions, a warning signal will be delivered to the alarm receiving centre. This means that your alarm signalling can never be compromised without the knowledge of the alarm receiving centre.
Redcare GSM dual signalling paths – this uses two alarm signalling paths: the telephone line and a radio network. If one of these paths is attacked, or fails, the other continues to monitor your alarm regardless of which one fails first. Redcare Fire doesn’t require a dedicated phone line and will work on your existing BT phone line. You therefore save the cost of installing and renting an additional line, as well as incurring any additional call charges.
Whether you are a small business or multinational organisation the protection of your premises against fire should be a top priority. Redcare Fire uses your existing phone line, meaning installation costs are minimal, and provides a high quality monitored alarm system, that gives you complete peace of mind that your premises are fully protected.
