Emergency Lighting
Emergency Lighting is designed to activate if the mains power is cut off in the event of a fire or if there is a mains power failure. The emergency lighting should provide sufficient light to show escape routes to enable occupants to evacuate the building safely, illuminate fire safety equipment such as call points and fire extinguishers and should stay lit for the minimum emergency duration (usually 3 hours) after a mains failure.
Emergency lighting is part of the fire safety provision of a building and is required by law in all publicly accessible buildings as well as most business properties and in the common areas of a House in Multiple Occupancy (HMO).
Paragon Fire and Security offers a full design, supply, installation and commissioning service for Emergency Lighting, all in compliance with current legislation. We install every type of emergency lighting, maintained or non-maintained, tailored for your premises and specific requirements. We also carry out regular testing and annual servicing.
No job is too small so if you just need a couple of additional lights installed, we will be happy to help.
If you would like to discuss the design and installation of a new emergency lighting system, or the enhancement or maintenance of your existing system please contact us.
